WWF pushes this event every year and it's amazing the participation this hour gets. Even the big guns in Downtown, Toronto take part in this Earth Hour. Turning off all power in their buildings, stores, washrooms.. Oh man, I'd hate to be that guy at 8:30. lol. They also have some partying happen by City Hall for the event. Last year, I believe Nelly Furtado sang turn off the lights...yup! you read that right. She planned that when she was writing the song. Haha. If you have facebook (who doesn't these days) "LIKE" this post to let me know that you'll at least try to participate in Earth Hour. :)
Also a little reminder concerning the natural disasters that hit Japan, please take the time to view a video by Dan Chung below and click on the DONATE link to be redirected to Red Cross. Again the magical number is One. One dollar, one hundred dollars...the amount is not important. Our Design team is currently putting boxes together to send over to Japan filled with tshirts, so if anybody would like to add to the boxes please let us know and we'll come by to pick up your donations if you are within driving distance from us :)
