RED LOTUS | Photography

02.18.2011 | SPRING IS ~~HERE~~...NEAR ^^
Ahhh, do you hear that? Are those birds? No no, that's the sound of spring around the corner..well..about 2 months away but still. It's around the corner for us. Time seems to be flying by. Anyways...winter shoots! What better way to keep in the winter spirit. As cold as it is, the warmth felt from the couples I work with easily cancel out the frostbites and freezing windchill.
To start things off (second shooting for Aron Goss from Calculated Style), here is Amanda and Chris. Tying the knot at the beautiful Walper Hotel in Kitchener. The ceremony was intimate and the day was absolutely in our favor. As much as we photographers love overcast days...why waste a perfectly great sun on a winter day? So yes, we shot outside and the location Amanda and Chris had prepared for the formals was pure awesome sauce! *high fives all around* I haven't been inside some form of a barn in a decade and more. So I was pretty excited... O_O Don't judge me! hehe..Enjoy the photos!

I've been given the opportunity to assist and shoot with Aron a few times before but have been on the learning curve when it comes to his style and approach to the day. Finally getting the chance to prove myself I loved hearing the feedback from a guest and was proud to be able fill the role as second shooter for Aron. A guest came up to us and commented on how amazed she was on how Aron and I...looked so handsome. I believe that in itself should be merit enough to have either or to cover your special day. Lol. Ok I'm kidding... she just said we were cute. Hehe. Ok ok.. She didn't say anything like that at all, but I'm pretty sure she was thinking it. ;)
Thanks Aron for having me tag along on this one. I continue to learn and improve because of your advice and friendship and am a proud to say that I've shot with Calculated Style. I love knowing what you the viewer, follower, friends, stalkers *ahem*, have to say so do not hesitate to leave your comments below.
